We stayed at Torcroft Lodges for nine days, exploring the beautiful attractions around Loch Ness. The location was perfect, with the Nessie exhibition and Urqhart Castle right at our doorstep and Glen Affric just a stone's throw away. Despite the rustic exterior, the lodge had modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and reliable heating in all rooms. The owners were experienced and provided clear instructions for appliances and garbage disposal. They were also quick to respond to any issues, such as our WiFi problem. a fantastic experience.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The lodge provided all the essentials we needed and more. the shower was hot and strong, perfect for a refreshing start to the day. the location was ideal, with beautiful forest walks just a few minutes away. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of the lodge, especially with young kids in tow.
The lodge felt worn and dated, not quite meeting our expectations. the lack of a proper deep clean was also off-putting.

The lodge was very comfortable and spacious, perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the outdoor space and the picnic table, which was a great bonus when the weather was nice. The location was convenient, with local amenities just a short drive away. The hosts were friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any requests. We also appreciated the eco-friendly approach of the resort.
There were a few minor issues that we didn't particularly like. Some areas of the lodge could have been cleaner, and the mattresses were not the most comfortable, possibly due to their age.

We loved the large secure garden for the kids to play in, on-site washing and drying facilities, and the green ethos that the property follows. the location was amazing with countless places to visit nearby. the staff were friendly and caring.
